Barcelona Beaches: Nova Mar Bella Beach

Like Mar Bella Beach, the 420 metre-long Nova Mar Bella Beach is one of the beaches created when the Barcelona seafront was restored as part of the urban redevelopment for the 1992 Olympic Games.
The main users of this beach are women (making up 60% of total users) and people living outside Barcelona. It’s loyal and relatively young crowd favour the peace and quiet of its shores.

There is a free parking area near the beach and facilities for people with disabilities from 11am to 6pm. A volleyball court is situated halfway along the beach.

The beach can be reached easily by metro, bus, tram and bike.
