'BARCELONA AND BARÇA' TOUR ROUTE. Bstadium has exclusively designed an amazing themed tour of Barcelona for lovers of FC Barcelona and football in general. Walk around the most emblematic places and get to know the most surprising stories linked to the main clubs of Barcelona. Led by a specialised guide who will tell you fascinating anecdotes and stories related to football and sport, you'll get to know Barcelona in a totally original way. The tour will start in Plaça Catalunya, a strategic point of the city and border area between the Old Town and its expansion (Eixample). Once we have explained the history that permeates the square, we will enter the Ciutat Vella district along the Rambla where we will find the Canaletas Fountain, a place of celebration for the Blaugrana fans. We will go down to enter the incredible Gothic Quarter, more specifically the Roman Necropolis. Here we will learn about the Roman origins of the city and then we will arrive at the old Solé Gymnasium, where Joan Gamper and 11 other people founded Futbol Club Barcelona. Continuing through the Raval, we will enter the most visited market in the Catalan capital, the Boqueria Market, another fascinating example of Modernism with more than 300 stalls offering all kinds of typical products of Barcelona's gastronomy. Leaving from the main entrance on La Rambla, we will find the lottery office founded by a former FC Barcelona player. We will go along La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter to admire buildings of great importance in the city such as the Liceu Theatre, the basilica of Santa Maria del Pi and even the restaurant Can Culleretes, which has a great football history. To finish this amazing tour we will visit the Plaza Sant Jaume, a political and popular square where the Town Hall and the Generalitat are located on both sides, from whose balcony the players and managers used to offer the cup to their fans. 2.
