Heliogàbal was founded with the aim to promote the local culture of the Gràcia district where it is located. After some time it has also been focused in promoting new musicians and poetry projects.
This little venue has become along the years a meeting point for locals and tourists alike and at the same time is a place to be for new solo artists and bands.
The program at Heliogàbal includes one jazz concert per week, about once a month a painting and photography exhibition and regular pop-rock mini concerts, played mostly by local artists and from time to time international bands also can be seen at Heliogàbal in Barcelona.
