Tour Description
After a short training session on easy-to-operate, self-balancing Segways, begin your tour with a ride to the Gothic Quarter, home to a 4th-century Roman wall. Along the route, learn how the 1992 Olympic Games transformed the city and its relationship with the sea.
Pass the urban art at Sant Sebastià beach and watch street performers. Admire yachts and sailboats in the Old Port (Port Vell). Explore Barceloneta, the former fishing village, and discover the history of the Catalan people and their independence movement.
Pause for a panoramic coastal view from the ground floor terrace of the W Hotel. Continue to Port Olímpic, now a popular area with seafood restaurants and nightlife. Reflect in the gardens and open spaces of the Olympic Village before riding to the Arc de Triomf, the main entrance to the 1888 Universal Exhibition.
End at Parc de la Ciutadella and hear how the development involved demolishing much of La Ribera to create Barcelona’s oldest green space.

Important Information
- Minimum age for Segway riding is 16 years; younger participants can join e-bike tours
- Participants must weigh between 35 and 130 kg (75 to 286 lbs) to ride a Segway
- Trainers provide safe driving instruction before the tour
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory; helmets in all sizes are provided free
- Groups can have up to 30 participants, split into smaller groups of 6 or fewer with a dedicated guide
