Description
The aquarium has been fully transformed to combine technology, environmental education, and emotional engagement. Visitors start with Europe’s largest interactive digital floor and can explore Journey to the Depths, an immersive room simulating underwater ecosystems aboard the SubAqua Explorer.
Explore an extensive collection of Mediterranean and tropical marine species, including sea dragons. Walk through the longest underwater tunnel in Europe, surrounded by sharks, gilt-head bream, morays, and more. The aquarium places special focus on Mediterranean ecosystems such as the Medes Islands and the Ebro Delta, highlighting sustainability and marine conservation efforts.
Interactive activities engage visitors of all ages: kids can create digital fish in Aqua Protectors, explore sensory installations in the mangrove zone, and learn about ocean conservation through the SOS Oceans exhibit.
