Description
The tour begins in Barcelona and heads to Figueres to visit Dalí’s birthplace and the Dalí Museum, showcasing his art collection without catalogues or formal organization, as the artist intended.
From September to June, the trip continues to Cadaqués, a village known for its whitewashed houses and narrow streets along the Mediterranean coast. The drive offers dramatic scenery, leading to a chance for lunch on local terraces or the beach, where you can taste local seafood or opt for a casual sandwich.
Next, you will visit Port Lligat, a smaller village where Dalí’s secluded home reveals the peace and inspiration behind much of his work.
Between July and August, instead of Port Lligat, the tour visits a medieval coastal town for lunch followed by Pubol Castle, the former residence of Salvador Dalí and Gala, located in the village of Pubol.

Important Information
- The Dalí House in Port Lligat is open January 2 to June 30 and September 1 to December 31. It is closed January 1 and from January 9 to February 10. Exterior views are possible during closures.
- The Platja de Castel beach is accessible only during summer months.
- From July 1 to August 31, the visit includes Castell de Gala in Pubol.
- Lunch is not provided but the tour stops at locations offering various dining options for all budgets.
- Wear comfortable clothing and footwear appropriate for weather conditions. Sun protection is recommended.
- In summer, bring suitable beachwear and swimwear.
