Description
Departure will be from Hotel Ona Don Juan in Lloret de Mar starting at 8:30 a.m. A French-speaking guide will stay with you throughout the tour to share fascinating stories about the Catalan capital, its history, its culture, and its heritage.
You will be met by a French-speaking guide in the early hours, and after approximately 90 minutes, you will be able to spend a full day exploring the Catalan capital, renowned for its art and architecture.
You will have plenty of time to visit or admire each landmark before moving on to the next.
Once in Barcelona, we will make our first stop near the city's most famous monument: the Sagrada Familia. You will be able to walk to the cathedral for an exterior tour.
We will then board the coach again to head to the Eixample district, where we will be able to admire the stunning façades of famous architects such as Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner.
We will then continue our tour by heading to Montjuïc Hill, where we will stop to take the best panoramic photo of the city.
Then, as we descend through the Botanical Garden, we'll be able to take in the panoramic view of the new Port of Barcelona.
We will get off the coach to enjoy some free time for lunch, then we will take a walk along the iconic La Rambla, where you can stroll, window shop, and explore the large Boqueria Market.
