Three wines, thirty questions, and a Halloween edition of our trivia night at Vinumplay.

Wine tasting meets team trivia, this time with some more questionable costumes and Halloween-themed questions.

Three wines. Thirty questions. One winning table. We're back at Vinumplay for a Halloween edition of Wine Trivia.

The format is still simple: three wines over the course of the evening, a brief introduction to each one, and three rounds of team-based trivia.

Some questions are based on what you've just heard about the wine. Others are general trivia, unexpected facts, and, for this edition, a dose of Halloween.

You don't need to know anything about wine before coming.

Listen, taste, discuss the answers with your table, and see how far educated guesses can take you.

After each round, we reveal the answers and update the scores.

After three wines and thirty questions, one table wins the night and a bottle of wine to celebrate.

Halloween Edition

Vinumplay will be decorated for the evening, and costumes are encouraged.

You don't need to arrive looking like you spent three weeks putting together a costume. Come dressed up as much or as little as you like.

We'll also add Halloween-themed questions to the usual mix of wine trivia and general trivia, making this a little different from a normal wine trivia night.

How it works

You don't need to put together a team before coming.

We'll form the teams on the night, mixing up the room so you can come alone, with a friend, or as part of a small group.

Then we'll go through three rounds:

• Wine 1 → brief introduction → trivia
• Wine 2 → brief introduction → trivia
• Wine 3 → brief introduction → final trivia

The wines

Here's what we'll be serving this time:

• Synera Rosé D.O. Catalunya · Grenache + Tempranillo Fresh and fruity, with notes of red berries.
• Ozó Blanco 2024 D.O. Terra Alta · 100% Garnacha Blanca Fresh and floral, with citrus notes.
• Magnetic Tinto D.O. Catalunya · Grenache + Syrah Smooth and fruity, with a touch of spice.

We'll tell you more about each wine during the evening, and some of what you hear may come in handy later in the fun facts.

Costumes are recommended but not mandatory.
