Description

This isn’t a tour where you just follow a guide and listen. It’s an afternoon where you sip, taste, take on a few local challenges and finish with live music.

Meet your guide near La Rambla and head into the Gothic Quarter and El Born. At the first stop, you rub ripe tomato on toasted bread and make pa amb tomàquet the Catalan way. Then comes the Padrón pepper roulette. Most peppers are mild, but some are hot, and you never know which one you’ll get.

Between stops, your guide shares stories from the streets you’re walking through. Try the porrón, the Catalan glass pitcher you drink from without touching your lips, with your choice of cava or sangria. Taste crispy croquetas, patatas bravas and a plate of paella.

The experience ends at our partner live music venue, where you can relax with the group and enjoy the performance. If you want to keep going, your guide will recommend a nearby karaoke bar where you can continue on your own.

• The experience starts at 5:30 pm. Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes early
• Alcoholic drinks are only served to guests aged 18 and over. Non-alcoholic alternatives are available

• Some Padrón peppers are spicy. Taking part in the pepper roulette is optional
• Wear comfortable shoes, as the experience includes walking through the old town
• The guided experience ends at the live music venue
• Your guide can recommend a karaoke bar afterwards. Entry and drinks there are not included
