Description
Discover a different side of Barcelona on a guided wine walking tour through Poblenou, a neighborhood shaped by industry, trade, war, and constant transformation.
This experience combines an easy paced walk through former factories, backstreets, and creative spaces with three carefully selected wines by Elo Wines. Wine is not treated as a formal tasting, but as a way to pause, open conversation, and connect stories of place to what you see around you.
Poblenou was once known as the industrial heart of Barcelona, long before tech offices, beaches, and modern developments. As you walk, you will learn how factories, workers’ lives, trade routes, and the Civil War shaped the area, and how it later moved through abandonment, reinvention, and renewal.
The tour is designed to feel relaxed and social rather than academic. Stories are shared in context, wines are poured at key moments along the route, and there is time to walk, taste, and talk without rushing.
This is not a standard city tour.
And it is not a traditional wine tasting.
It is an experience for travelers who want to explore Barcelona beyond the most visited neighborhoods, while enjoying wine with meaning and local perspective.
