Weather Overview

Barcelona provides a typically Mediterranean climate with lengthy, hot summers and comfortably mild winters.

The warmest sunshine can be enjoyed between June and August with temperatures reaching up to 28°c, being mostly on average between 23ºc and 24ºc.

Whilst the winter months rarely see temperatures dip below 4°c, they generally range between 9ºc and 11ºc.

The most rainy season is Autumn, followed by Spring, with Summer being dry, especially in July.

The nature of the city allows you to find innumerable things to do and enjoy all year around, whatever the weather…

But if you do visit during the summer months, be sure to pack your sun-screen, swimming gear and a beach towel so that you can catch some rays on one of Catalonia's stunning beaches!
