Barcelona Beaches: Llevant Beach

Llevant Beach is one of the most recent beaches created on the Barcelona seafront where factories used to dominate the coastline.

It is located next to Nova Mar Bella Beach and its 375 metre stretch of sand was opened to the public in the summer of 2006 after the Prim Jetty was demolished and the platform for the future marine zoo was built.
 
This beach is fully equipped with all kinds of facilities for a great day out and can be easily accessed by bus, metro, tram and bike.
