Description

Discover a unique immersive sporting experience at the Olympic Museum of Barcelona, located on the Montjuïc hill. At this innovative museum, get an overview of both Olympic and non-Olympic sports, including football, Formula 1, skiing, cycling, canoeing, and tennis. Through state-of-the-art technology and interactive exhibitions, as well as multimedia installations, you can experience your favorite sports and relive the best moments in Olympic history. Run against Carl Lewis or Usain Bolt, check out Mark Spitz or Michael Phelps' swimming techniques, improve your cycling skills or get a taste for weightlifting with the museum's immersive simulators. In addition, learn more about the different host cities of the Olympics, from Barcelona 1992 to London 2012, at a permanent exhibition, where you can also discover a range of paraphernalia from the Barcelona '92 games. In the Idols space, discover trophies, milestones, and elements of the best athletes and moments in history. You can also compare your shoes with those of great athletes such as Michael Jordan, Pau Gasol or Roberto Dueñas, discover the Samaranch collection or enjoy a live sports match. There is a special paralympic section where you can learn about the history of the paralympic games, from football for the blind and visually impaired to wheelchair basketball. Included on the ticket entrance, you can discover the following temporary exhibition: - Values and Emotions of the COPLEFC Photography Contest: until January 25, 2026. The COPLEFC (College of Physical Activity and Sports Professionals of Catalonia) started its Photography Contest in 1999. Over its 26 editions, hundreds of images have been collected that invite multiple perspectives and interpretations. These photographs reflect the essence of the contest: highlighting the values and emotions that arise from the practice of physical activity and sport in all its forms. - XI Barcelona Olympic Foundation International Art on Paper Award: until November 09, 2025. 2025 saw the twelfth edition of the International Art on Paper Award Fundació Barcelona Olímpica, organized since 2010 by the Fundació Barcelona Olímpica. The Fundació Barcelona Olímpica is firmly committed to keeping the link between art and sport more alive than ever. Once again, this is demonstrated by the number of entries.
