Before you start exploring the mysterious medieval Barcelona, stop by one of the oldest bakeries in the city (1849), and try a typical catalan pastry. Some tiny streets later, you will have the chance to taste and see the diversity of gastronomy in the local Market Hall. Your guide will make you knowledgeable about Iberian ham (2 types) and local cheeses (3 types) Learn how to properly order and eat tapas and try some delicious examples in a family restaurant with some wine. We are taking you to an authentic busy place, be ready for the experience! Get closer to the Meditéranean sea by sitting around a table and drinking some fresh Sangria and authentic Paëlla, in one of the most picturesque places in the city. As with all our tours, there's our delicious Secret Dish. NOTE* Our Sunday tour menu is slightly different from other days and Includes seasonal and traditional family Sunday dishes and venues. Start your day with warm, crispy churros and rich melted hot chocolate, while learning the secrets of this century-old Spanish tradition. Stroll through charming backstreets to a cozy Catalan pastry shop, filled with the aroma of fresh baked goods. Master the art of tapas at a lively family restaurant, enjoying delicious bites paired with Spanish wine in an authentic, bustling setting. Savor fresh sangria and authentic fideuá (noodle paella) with creamy alioli by the Mediterranean, surrounded by stunning views.Don gloves and a bib for a true Catalan Sunday feast: smoky calçots, hearty stew, and wine from a “porrón.” (Available January to March only!)
