Located in one of the biggest green areas in Barcelona, the Ciutadella Park, within the Born area in the old city district, the Zoo in Barcelona has been offering to visitors for over 120 years not only a great collection of exotic and native animals but also a space for family leisure and a contribution to conservation of fauna and biodiversity.
With a strong commitment to the natural environment and the community, at the Zoo in Barcelona each animal has its own space so they can feel like at home. Therefore different areas have been created, like the komodo area, the reptile house, the gorilla enclosure, the small primates gallery, the farm, etc.
The Zoo in Barcelona is open every day of the year from 10am. All exhibits and facilities are adapted for people with reduced mobility and also there is a bike parking area. You also will find lockers for your luggage during the visit.
