It’s a guest house in the village of Olivella, high in the hills of the Penedès wine region. The Barcelona Hotel Azure Guest Villa is a modern country house with an outdoor swimming pool and several terraces perfect for sunbathing. Guests are encouraged to use the poolside barbecue and kitchen and eat their meals al fresco. There’s a small gym in case you want to work out. Nearby are an eclectic country estate called Plana Novella, which is today used as a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, and the abandoned village of Jafra. Olivella is approx. 10.5 km/6.5 miles from the wine city of Vilafranca del Penedès (often shortened to simply Vilafranca); 15.3 km/9.5 miles from the seaside resort of Sitges; and 60 km/37.3 miles from Barcelona.
