Barcelona Airports

Barcelona is a major global hub for air transportation and you can fly into and out of the city from around the globe, with ease. The numerous carriers which operate out of the three main airports around Barcelona allow for regular and efficient travel around Europe, as well as continents further afield. Also, with the rise of budget airlines, getting to Barcelona city has never been more affordable.

It is located 15 kms. South from the city centre and the most popular transport to get there is by bus but note that by train is the cheapest!

It is located 100 kms. North from Barcelona city centre and a direct and reliable bus service can take you there. It takes one hour and ten minutes.

It is located about 108 kms. South from Barcelona and is easy to get there by bus. The stop is right next to the terminal and takes about one hour twenty minutes to the city centre.

 

Barcelona’s main airport for international flights is Barcelona-El Prat Airport which is also by far and away the closest airport to Barcelona city centre.

Reus Airport and Girona Airport mostly deal with budget European airlines and are slightly further away from Barcelona city, itself.
